Meet the Travelicious Couple

We’re Isheeta and Shrey, the duo behind Travelicious Couple – slow travellers, remote tech professionals and adventure seekers who have been exploring the world while working full-time since 2018.

Based in beautiful British Columbia, Canada has been our home for over a decade. BC isn’t just where we live – it’s where we hike, kayak, wine taste, stargaze and breathe deeply. Our love for this province runs deep and we’re passionate about helping others discover Canada’s stunning landscapes and rich local experiences through first-hand guides.

We’re not digital nomads hopping between cities every week. We’re slomads: travelers who stay in one place for weeks or months, soaking in the culture, food, people, and everyday rhythms that make each destination unique. Having lived and worked across all 7 continents, we’ve mastered the art of maintaining high-performance careers while experiencing the world in a way that’s both luxurious and practical.

We’ve worked remotely from over 35 countries across all 7 continents. We’ve spent weeks or months working from each of these places – building routines, forming connections, and truly living like locals.

What Makes Us Different

What makes our lifestyle sustainable for us is slow travel. When we explored Australia, for instance, we didn’t rush. We spent two months in Sydney, a month in Melbourne, and several weeks making our way up the coast through the Gold Coast to Cairns. That’s the level of depth we bring to our travel and to every blog post.

Second, we show that you can build a life of adventure without quitting your job. It doesn’t have to be a whirlwind 10-day itinerary across four cities. Remote work flexibility is more attainable than ever whether you’re allowed to work a few weeks abroad, take unpaid leave or negotiate a hybrid setup. Sometimes, all it takes is asking.

Whether it’s a rooftop café in Budapest, a winery in New Zealand or a cozy cabin in Montreal – we’ve figured out how to blend full-time work with immersive travel in a way that’s joyful, meaningful and deeply fulfilling.

Why We Created This Blog

We started Travelicious Couple because we couldn’t find travel blogs that matched our lifestyle – people with professional careers and responsibilities who still wanted to see the world deeply, not quickly.
We wanted a space that talked to:

Travelers who prefer immersive, slow experiences over bucket list blitzes
Professionals who want to explore the world without quitting their job
People who love real stories and tips from travelers who’ve actually lived in each place
Anyone curious to explore Canada like a local

And perhaps most importantly, we wanted to share the place we’re proud to call home: Canada. After over a decade of living here, Canada has become a big part of who we are. From the wild beauty of British Columbia to the charming cities of Quebec and the Yukon’s northern lights, we’re passionate about showcasing the diverse experiences Canada has to offer. Our local guides, road trips, hiking spots and seasonal travel tips are written from lived experience and we hope they help others fall in love with this country the way we have.
